To create your logo mat, your logo or graphic will be digitally printed onto nylon entrance matting. Colours are applied to the surface using Chromojet printing, computer controlled dye technology.
Rubber backing
Our printed logo mats are manufactured using durable nitrile rubber backing.
Rubber backing thickness is 1.3 mm for standard logo mats and 2.5mm for 'well' mats (mats that sit in a well). Overall mat depth = 10mm-12mm approx.
Nitrile rubber backing offers a number of advantages:
- mats do not stain floors.
- resistant to oil and grease.
- resistant to ozone cracking.
- made of DOP-free rubber.
- Strong rubber backing provides maximum durability.

Well Mats
We can also provide Well mats. Well Mats are are designed to be placed inside a 'Well' or recess in the floor.
These are supplied approximately 10cm larger than the Well or recess on all four sides and supplied without an edge border. The mat will need to be cut back by the customer or carpet fitter so that it fits snuggly into the well.
As there will be 10% added to the size we therefore have to add 10% to the price. To ensure strength and durability, double thickness rubber is used for the backing of Well mats which means we also have to add an extra small fee of £5 to each Well mat order.
As each Well depth varies, you might need to have the Well packed with underlay to bring the logo mat level with the edge of the top of Well.
