What's the difference between Cleated and Smooth backing?

'Cleated Backing' mats feature small round bobbles on the back which performs best on carpeted surfaces. The cleats help the mat stay in place on the carpeted surface and help to prevent 'carpet creep'.

'Smooth Backing' mats feature a smooth rubber backing and is recommended on hard surfaces such as tile, marble etc. We have found that the smooth backed mats slip and move less on hard surfaces.

How long is delivery?

Logo mats take approximately 3 weeks depending on which part of the week the order is placed, as the mats are printed in batches to keep costs down.
Delivery times for other products may vary depending whether it's a stock item or has to be custom made.

Can I have my own design turned into a Logo Mat? Even though it's not a logo?

Of course. Most designs can be redrawn to make them suitable to be placed onto a mat, but obviously with overcomplicated designs there maybe some simplification needed due to to the nature of the product especially on small mat sizes. Email us your artwork or design and we will redraw using up to 14 colours from a palette of 53. There's no design charge.

Is there a warranty?

Logo Mats are covered by a 2 year guarantee against manufacturers defects such as the mat falling apart. But due to the nature of the product this doesn't cover normal wear and tear although out mats are designed for high traffic areas and general commercial usage so will generally last a long time.

Can I have the exact colour to match my logo?

You can have the exact Pantone (PMS) colour but there is an extra cost per colour to match it and it is expensive. This is due to the time consuming procedure involved in creating a specific colour. So we would suggest you select the colours from our 53 colour range. There is usually enough colours in our range to cover most logos and designs.

Can I cancel my logo mat order after the order has been placed?

Once a logo mat order has been placed we cannot give you a refund if you change your mind afterwards. This is because once the mat has been made with your personalised logo or design we would be unable to resell it to anybody else. Although depending at which stage of manufacture, if it has been printed only and not rubber backed then we could refund half your payment.

Are our Mats stain Resistant?

No they are not stain resistant. There are stain resistant carpets that are treated with Scotch Guard. This puts a Teflon coat on the fiber which protects the fiber from stains. You could in theory spray a mat and achieve the same effect, the problem with it is that it makes the fiber water repellent so it would not be very good at absorbing moisture which is one of the purposes of the mats.

How do I order a Mat to fit inside a 'Well' or recess?

Well mats are made slightly oversize with rubber borders untrimmed and when you receive it it will have to be cut back to fit the well size, ensuring that it will fit the recess perfectly. It can be cut with sharp scissors or a Stanley knife. We usually add an extra 7cm on all 4 sides which will obviously increase the cost slightly.

Do the Logo Mats have rubber backing?

Yes our main logo mats are backed using Nitrile rubber, which makes them longer lasting and more durable than vinyl backing.

How thick are the logo mats?

Approximately 1cm thick.

What is the largest size Logo Mat I can have?

The largest size we can manufacture is 198cm x 600cm

How long does it take to draw the design proofs?

We will have the logo mat design proofs drawn up within 24 hours. We will email you a PDF document showing the design, colours, size and orientation for your approval.

How much is delivery?

Delivery is free in the UK only, whether it's one mat being delivered or for 100 mats! We can also deliver to EU countries but there will be a small delivery charge.
